Jackson Hole High School Veterans Recognition Lunch and Event, Thursday, November 6, from 11:45 AM to 1:45 PM. The lunch will be followed by a recognition ceremony in the auditorium with the high school students. All Veterans and their guests are invited to attend. Lunch is from the Blue Collar, so it will be a good meal! Those who plan to attend should RSVP by email to Mary Tisi at mtisi@tcsd.org or by telephone to 307 732-3709.
Jackson Hole Veterans Day Ceremony, Tuesday, November 11 at 11:00 AM on Jackson Town Square. Music will precede the ceremony from the Jackson Hole Community Band. Jackson Hole American Legion Post 43 Honor Guard will post the Colors, followed by an opening prayer and the singing or the National Anthem. After remarks on the meaning and significance of Veterans Day from Air Force Veteran Ed Liebzeit, the Honor Guard will provide a rifle salute and the playing of Taps.
Veterans Day Dinner at the Jackson Hole Elks Club. Tuesday, November 11 at 6 PM. All veterans welcome at no charge. Guests pay a small fee.
Veterans Lunch at Jackson Hole Community School, Wednesday, November 12, 11:15-1245. 1715 High School Road. Invitation available from Laura Grossman, laureng525@gmail.com. First come, first served up to 10 veterans.
Veterans Ball and Marine Corps Birthday Celebration, November 15, 5:00 PM. Honoring 250 Years of the United States Marine Corps and All Who Have Served. Join Talons Reach Foundation for a powerful evening in Jackson, Wyoming, as we honor veterans from all branches of the U.S. Armed Forces. This special event will unite veterans, service members, and the Jackson community in a shared tribute to courage, sacrifice, and continued service. This is a Formal Event. Please wear formal dress attire. Any Active or Retired Military in any branch you are encouraged to slip back into your uniform! Single Tickets - $150/Veterans 1/2 price at $75. For any veteran who cannot afford a ticket, a donor has agreed to pay for it.
