Post 43 Upcoming Activities

May Activities:

  

  1. Saturday, May 16 - Funeral Service for the late Harold Turner at Triangle X Ranch – Ceremony at 2:00 PM. Meet at the Post at 12:30 PM. 30 minute drive to Triangle X Ranch after preparing flags and rifles.
  2. Tuesday, May 19 - Annual Post Meeting and Election of Officers - 7 PM
  3. Saturday, May 23 - Best of the West Parade - Flag bearers and truck riders needed.  Meet at the Post at 8:30 AM for the 10 AM Parade start.
  4. Saturday & Sunday, May 23-24 – Flag Posting at cemeteries - Volunteers to place American Flags on Veteran graves.
  5. Monday, May 25 - Memorial Day Ceremony and Cemetery Honor Guards - Need rifle squad and flag bearers for this ceremony. Meet at the Post at 9:00 AM.  Ceremony on Jackson Town Square at 10 AM, followed by salutes at Aspen Hill, South Park, and Elliot Cemeteries and at the Snake River Bridge in Wilson.
  6. Friday, May 29 - Color Guard for Opening Home Game of Jackson Hole Post 43 Giants Legion Baseball Team.  Game time at 3:00 PM.  Post 43 Giants Field, 1235 Gregory Lane, Jackson.
