Next Monthly Post Meeting

1. Post 43 will be holding our monthly meeting on Tuesday, November 21  in person at the Post Building and on Zoom.  Following the usual opening ceremony, you will be treated to a talk by our Commander, Joe Burke, and our Finance Officer, Ray Pilgrim on their life experiences serving in the Coast Guard and beyond.  Reports will follow by the Financial Officer and the Adjutant.  Joe will report on the very successful Veterans Day Ceremony.

2.  On Monday, December 18 at 1030, our Post will host a promotion ceremony for 2nd Lt. Christopher Mena.  Chris is an Artillery Officer in the Army at Fort Sill, and he will be visiting his parents in the Jackson area for Christmas.  Arrangements have been made to perform his promotion ceremony remotely.  All our members are invited to attend this ceremony, where his parents will pin on his bars as a 1st Lt.

3.  On Saturday, December 2 at 0930, the 4th Annual Rylee McCollum Wrestling Tournament will take place at the Jackson High School. Our Post will present the colors at the opening ceremony.  Our Post member, Karee Jaeger, has been asked to sing the National Anthem again at this event.
