Jackson Hole American Legion Post 43 was founded by a group of World War I veterans who wanted to create a space where their fellow veterans could find the support and resources they need to thrive. We understand the unique challenges that veterans face, and we are committed to helping them overcome those challenges.
Our Legion Post 43 built and maintains a beautiful Monument on the Jackson Town Square which includes names of veterans from Jackson who have served in various eras and conflicts over the history of our country.
We believe that community is key to helping veterans thrive, which is why we are committed to building a strong and supportive community in Jackson Hole. We honor veterans at ceremonies on Memorial Day, Veterans Day, July 4, parades, color guards, funerals, and other occasions.
